Saturday, May 4 - SCRHA Wild Flower Horse Show - Starting time:  4:00 pm

Location:  Scott County Horse Park, Dungannon, Va.

Saturday, May 18 - Little Stony Falls Trail Ride

Meet and depart from the Scott County Horse Park at 10:00 am to trailer to the ride site.  It will be about a 30 minute haul to the parking lot at Little Stony Falls.  For more information, please contact a member of the Trail Committee.

 

Friday, May 24 through Monday, May 27 - Memorial Weekend Wagon Train

The wagon train will be riding and camping in the High Knob area.  For camping location and route for each day, please contact Wade White at (276)479-5013.

 

Saturday, May 25 - SCRHA Golden Gaits Horse Show - Starting time:  4:00 pm

June 2013

Saturday, June 1 - National Trail Day Trail Ride

This year the ride will be the same Little Stony Falls ride that was taken in 2012.  Riders will meet at the horse park and depart at 10:00 am to trailer to the parking lot at Little Stony Falls.  This will be about a 30 minute haul.  For more information, please contact a member of the Trail Committee.

 

Saturday, June 15 - Dungannon Fire Dept. Horse Show - Starting time:  5:00 pm

July 2013

Monday, July 1 through Saturday, July 6 - Scott County Wagon Train 4th of July Ride

The wagon train will camp at the Jarvis Vicar's farm in Twin Springs each night and travel a different route each day.  Riders are welcome to camp and ride for the week or just come out and ride a day or two.  For more information or for the routes for each day, please contact Wade White at (276)479-5013.

 

Saturday, July 6 - SCRHA / Clintwood Trail Ride

This will be a joint trail ride with the Cumberland Pine Mountain Trail Riders.  Riders will be taking the High Knob eleven mile loop trail.  Camping will be available at the horse park for those interested.  Trailers will depart from the horse park at 9:30 am to haul to the trail head.  For more information, please contact a member of the Trail Committee.

 

Saturday, July 20 - SCRHA Firecracker Fun Horse Show - Starting time:  6:00 pm

Friday, July 26 through Saturday, August 3 - Greenbriar River Trail Wagon Train, 

West Virginia

The wagon train will be hauling to West Virginia for this ride.  It will be riding and camping on the Greenbriar River Trail for the week, and then hauling back home.  For more information, please contact Wade White at (276)479-5013.

 

Saturday, July 27 - Wallen Ridge Trail Ride

Riders will meet at the Daniel Boone Travel Center in Duffield, Va.  at 10:00 am and trailer to the ride site.  For more information, please contact a member of the Trail Committee.

 

August 2013

Saturday, August 17 - SCRHA Rack-N-Roll Horse Show - Starting time:  6:00 pm

Saturday, August 17 - Stanleytown to Maple Gap Trail Ride

Riders will meet and depart from the Rye Cove High School parking lot at 10:00 am.  Everyone is invited to bring a grill and fixings for a cookout after the ride.  For more information, please contact a member of the Trail Committee.

Saturday, September 14 - Gentry Creek Trail Ride in Johnson County, Tn.

Riders will meet and depart from the Lowe's parking lot on East Stone Drive in Kingsport, Tn. at 8:30 am to trailer to the ride site.  It will be about an one hour haul to the trail head.  For more information, please contact a member of the Trail Committee.

 

October 2013

Saturday, October 5 - Trail Ride on the Holston in Hiltons, Va.

The ride will be followed by a BBQ dinner for a fee.  More information to come at a later date. 

 

Saturday, October 12 - Mabe to Pickbreeches Ridge Trail Ride
