 Friday, November 6 - SCRHA Board of Directors Meeting - Time: 6:00 pm
Location:  Scott County Golf Course / Park Meeting Building in Gate City, Va. 

December 2009

 Saturday, December 12 - SCRHA Christmas Dinner - Time:  6 pm

Location:  Bingo Building beside Jack's Market in Wadlow Gap

*Everyone is asked to bring a couple of covered dishes and a gift for a Chinese Christmas.  *Drinks and paper products will be provided by the association.  *Also, anyone interested in donating non-perishable food items to the Scott County Ministries Assn., please do so by bringing your donation to the dinner.  *For more information, please call (276)479-2929.

 

January 2010

Saturday, January 23 - SCRHA Annual Membership Meeting and Awards Banquet - 

Time:  5 pm, Location:  Bingo Building beside Jack's Market on Wadlow Gap Road between Gate City and Kingsport

*Everyone is asked to bring a couple of covered dishes.  *Drinks and paper products will be provided by the association.  *The meeting will consist of reports from committee chairs, election of a new board of directors, presentation of donations to selected charities, and presentation of high point awards to both juveniles and adults.  *For more information, please call (276)479-2929.

 

February 2010

Saturday, February 13 - Benefit Soup Bean & Hot Dog Supper - Time:  5-8 pm

Location:  Jack's Bingo Building located in Wadlow Gap between Gate City and Kingsport

On January 31, 2010, Jim, Peggy, and Blake Dingus lost their home and all their belongings to a house fire.  Blake is a member of our Rack-N-Roll 4-H Club and the whole family long time supporters of the SCRHA.  The 4-H club and some horse friends are working to help them out by having this benefit supper.  There will also be a silent auction held during the supper.  Please donate items for this worthy cause.

 

Friday, February 19 - SCRHA Committee Scheduling Workshop and Board Meeting -

Time:  5 - 9 pm, Location:  Keith Memorial Park Cabin, Nickelsville, Va.

The committee workshops will be held from 5 - 6:30 pm followed by the board meeting from 6:30 - 9 pm.
