Rules
for park use
-
Firearms,
drugs, and alcohol are prohibited on park grounds.
-
No
profanity or fighting will be tolerated on the grounds.
Please show respect to others.
-
Horses
are to be kept under control at all times.
-
Horses
are not allowed in or around the concession stand or the
announcer / secretary's booth.
Horse
Park Rental
-
Any
group wishing to lease the site must present an application and
detailed written request to the chairman of the horse
park. The chairman for 2008 is Eugene McClellan
(Phone: 276-386-3784).
-
Reservations
will be held until a contract has been signed or 20 days before
the event.
-
Lessee
will be responsible for any and all permits, insurance
documents, and security arrangements. Copies of the above
will need to be filed with the Scott County EDA board and the
Scott County Horse Association.
-
The
lessee will be responsible for all damage. Clean up is the
sole responsibility of the lessee. Failure to clean will
result in a $25/hour cleaning fee.
-
A
certificate of insurance naming both the Scott County EDA and
the Scott County Regional Horse Association must be filed with
both organizations.
-
The
use of the site is limited to events that promote agriculture,
public safety, community pride, cultural awareness, and national
pride.

*Any
